Aircraft Systems
Learning Quick - And Well
I was Lab Lead for over 3,000 hours of systems integration tests, including TIA events, in the integration labs for FAR Part 25 testing. This included 2,000 hours in the G500/G600 Integrated Test Facilities (ITFs) and 1,000 hours leading the Iron Bird Labs. I conducted tests of Flight Controls, DCN, EPIC / PlaneView, Hydraulics, and Fuel. I was also involved at a hands-on level with multiple systems including Brakes, Landing Gear, ECS, Powerplant, Cabin, WAI, Oxygen, Iridium/SatCom, and FDR/CVR.

As Lab Lead, I briefed and debriefed pilots during lab testing of G500/600 for TIA testing. After these and other tests, I produced and reviewed test summary reports for multiple different Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and other lab customers. To ensure proper lab and systems development, I tracked, investigated, and closed over 400 different issues using SBM workflow.
SYSTEMS TESTED
Since 2017 I have tested numerous systems and communication methods with special expertise in:
Data Concentration Network
AIRINC 429
PlaneView
CAN BUS
A664
Landing Gear

I not only know these systems well and understand how they were designed, I am also able to manipulate them to better diagnose issues.
DATA ANALYTICS
Data from Point A to Point Z
-
and everywhere in between
I created analytics to track and prevent problems on customer aircraft.

The future is even brighter:
-
Live data streams from aircraft
-
Models validating their physics from on-aircraft data
-
Technicians diagnosing issues from half a world away - in real time.
