Kyle is from the mountains of Western North Carolina. He caught the aviation bug when he was young. Since then he has:

• Earned the Billy Mitchell Award during his time in Civil Air Patrol

• Soloed a Cessna 182

• Attained a M.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech

• Led the CFD Aerodynamic Design Team at Hendrick Motorsport

• Collaborated on the Chevrolet Camro ZL1 NASCAR Aerodynamic Design Team 

• Led the G500/600 Systems Integration Team

• Performed Data Analytics for Gulfstream
